Minutes of the Committee Meeting held on Thursday 13 January 2005

5. Treasurer’s Business
MH circulated the joint summary account for BCC and BWCT for the last month (attached). He drew attention to:
BWCT Expenditure:
The nett trust free funds currently stand at approximately £6760.
BCC Income:
The main items of expenditure were the BCC 100 Club December Draw prizes, and Christmas Lights materials and renewals.
Net BCC free funds currently stand at approximately £3675.
The total combined free funds stand at £10,435.
6.Reports from Sub-committees.
6.1 Youth initiatives. Nothing to report (See correspondence).
6.2 Scalebor sports facilities.
MH and BS have installed insulation on all water pipes in the pavilion. A faulty heater has been reported to the builders. Low level heating will be maintained overnight during the cold months. A litter bin has been installed at the entrance to the car park and will be emptied on BMDC rounds. There are some continuing problems of general litter and fly tipping in the area of the pavilion although these are not being associated with the use of the sports facilities.
6.3 Pond at Cornmill Lane
Following the meeting held on December 5th, reported in the December Minutes, MH has drawn up a Draft Policy Document in relation to the pond. This was circulated to all members before the meeting. In response to information provided by JG a further draft was circulated at the meeting. The document was discussed fully and a number of minor changes were proposed. These will be incorporated and the document brought back to the February meeting. We will then arrange a further meeting with our tenants.
