These were accepted as a correct record and were signed. 

3.Matters arising, not covered elsewhere on the agenda.

4.Correspondence.

BS reported:

• Receipt of the Minutes of the Youth Forum meeting  held on November 24^th.
• Recreation Ground: following an informal meeting with Ian Day  about lack of progress, BS has written to Bob Jones  and to Burley Trojans  with a wake up call on the changing rooms  project at the Recreation Ground. Unless the club moves quickly with a firm proposal the money will be spent elsewhere.

5. Treasurer’s Business

MH circulated the joint summary account for BCC and BWCT for the last month (attached).  He drew attention to:

BWCT Expenditure:

• The £537.09 for insurance for  the Scalebor Pavilion and 3^rd party cover for the Millpond;
• £200 to the Burley Wildlife Group. A letter of thanks has been received from the Wildlife Group.

The nett trust free funds currently stand at approximately  £6760.

BCC Income:

• Christmas Lights collections – currently at approx £200. Thanks were extended to the shops and other businesses who had  collection boxes over the Christmas period and to BS for collecting the boxes.
• The environmental improvement grant of £500  from Shipley Area Committee   towards the water feature and £85 from the water  feature appeal.
• £320 in advance advertisements for the Handbook

BCC Expenditure:

The main items of expenditure were the BCC 100 Club December Draw prizes, and Christmas Lights materials and renewals. 

Net BCC free funds currently stand at approximately £3675.

The total combined free funds stand at  £10,435. 

6.Reports from Sub-committees.

6.1 Youth initiatives. Nothing to report (See correspondence).

6.2 Scalebor sports facilities.

MH and BS have installed insulation on all water pipes in the pavilion. A faulty heater has been reported to the builders. Low level heating will be maintained overnight during the cold months. A litter bin has been installed at the entrance to the car park and  will be emptied on BMDC rounds. There are some continuing problems of general litter and fly tipping in the area of the pavilion  although these are  not  being associated with the use of the sports facilities.

6.3 Pond at Cornmill Lane

Following the meeting held on December 5^th, reported in the December Minutes, MH has drawn up a Draft Policy Document  in relation to the pond. This was circulated to all members before the meeting. In response to  information provided by JG a further draft was circulated at the meeting. The document was discussed fully and a number of minor changes were proposed. These will be incorporated and  the document brought back to the February meeting. We will then arrange a further meeting with our tenants.
