112/06 Chairman's remarks
Cllr. Jones opened the meeting and welcomed Mrs Saunders as the newly appointed Parish Clerk.

114/06 Disclosures of Interest
Cllr Riley attending under S37 declared an interest in application 06/05940/FUL as he lives near to the proposed development.
115/06 Minutes of the Last Meeting
The minutes of the meeting of 24 August 2006. It was proposed by Cllr. Jenkins and seconded by Cllr Dale that they be approved as a true and accurate record and were signed accordingly.

Receipt of the following planning application was acknowledged and considered as follows:
06/05940/FUL – 1 Langford Lane
Demolition of dwelling and construction of four semi–detached houses and four garages. Local residents had raised a number of issues regarding the development. Following discussion it was agreed that the planning application be recommended for approval with conditions attached to take into account the objections raised. These included; the positioning of the drainage system; relocation of the original stone gateposts; consultation on proposed boundary planting; and controls on the timing and route of construction traffic.
