Notification of a proposed variation to the conditions applied to the above planning application had been received. The proposals were to ensure that the extra roofing lights were at a sufficient height to ensure no overlooking of neighbouring properties. Following discussion it was agreed that there was no objection to the proposed variation.
135/06 Note decisions from BMDC
06/05389/FUL – 2a Endor Crescent.
Approved
Demolition of existing bungalow and erection of a pair of semi-detached houses. Neighbours had raised concerns regarding the drainage of the site. The application had been approved subject to the drainage system being agreed in writing with BMDC prior to the commencement of development.
06/05589/FUL – 1 West View Rd
Refused
Construction of detached dwelling with integral garage.
136/06 Burley Bridge
Cllr Jones had received a pre–application enquiry from the consultants, Hutchinson Whitlam Associates, acting for the Rambler's Association. The proposals contained the detailed plans for the bridleway bridge together with photographs, flood risk assessment and background information.
Following discussion it was agreed that a reply should be sent stating that although the Parish Council was interested in any proposal for a bridge it was not persuaded of the demand for a bridleway. The current proposal appeared to dominate its surroundings, and there was no evidence to show that this, rather than a footbridge, was the type of structure needed.
137/06 Any Other Business
Notification had been received that the application at 12 Aireville Terrace to demolish the existing house and erect 11 apartments had been withdrawn by the applicant.
