139/06 Chairman‘s remarks
Cllr. Jones opened the meeting.
140/06 Apologies
Cllr Jenkins and Cllr Walker had sent apologies and these were accepted.

No disclosure of interest.
142/06 Minutes of the Last Meeting
The minutes of the meetings of 28 September. It was proposed by Cllr. Dale and seconded by Cllr Forrest that they be approved as a true and accurate record and were signed accordingly.
143/06 Matters Arising
There were no matters arising.
144/06 Planning Applications
Receipt of the following applications was acknowledged and considered as follows:
06/07094/ FUL – 40 Sandholme Drive
Construction of a pair of semi–detached houses. Following discussion it was agreed that the proposal was an over development of the site. It was out of character with the surrounding properties in terms of style and height and had a detrimental effect on the street scene.
Resolved: Recommend Refusal
06/07153/FUL – 8 Greenholme cottages
Conversion of roof space and addition of dormer window.
Resolved: Recommend approval
06/06937/FUL – 26 Hall Rise
Alterations to existing garage/utility room. First floor extension over garage and conservatory to rear.
Resolved: Recommend approval
06/07008/FUL – 14 St Philips Way
Single storey extensions to side and rear. This application was an amended proposal to one previously refused. It had been amended to reduce the size of the extension. Following discussion it was agreed that this was now acceptable.
Resolved: Recommend approval
145/06 Decisions from BMDC
None had been received.
146/06 Any Other Business
Cllr Jones had received the agenda for the Area Planning Meeting and noted that an enforcement notice had been served to stop unauthorised use of land at Green Lane.
Concern was raised about the current state of a property on Station Road. This would be discussed at the next meeting.
