176/06 Chairman's remarks

Councillor Jones opened the meeting and welcomed Martyn Burke of the Ilkley Planning Office who talked to the committee about issues surrounding planning in Burley. The committee had the opportunity to put questions to Mr Burke. A query from local residents about construction at West Lodge was put to Mr Burke and he agreed to contact the Planning Enforcement Officer to check what works were being carried out. The committee were urged to contact the Planning Office if they felt any development was taking place that may be in excess of any planning approval. Cllr Jones thanked Mr Burke for his attendance.

179/06 Minutes of the Last Meeting

The minutes of the meeting of 23 November. Cllr Jenkins requested that the minutes be amended to reflect the attendance of members of the public but with these amendments it was proposed by Cllr Dale and seconded by Cllr Horton that the minutes were a true and accurate record and accepted accordingly.
