312/0607 — Chairman's remarks

Councillor Jones opened the meeting.

313/0607 — Apologies

Cllr Walker and Cllr Forrest had sent apologies and these were received and accepted.

314/0607 — Disclosures of Interest

None

315/0607 — Minutes of the Last Meeting

The minutes of the meeting of 8th March 2007. It was proposed by Cllr Jenkins and seconded by Cllr Tilford that the minutes were a true and accurate record and accepted accordingly.

316/0607 — Matters arising

07/01455/FUL — Wayside, Bradford Road.

Planning Office felt that development was too intrusive in relation to the neighbours at the rear and were therefore declining planning permission.

317/0607 — Stopping up of land at 1 Wrexham Road

Parish Clerk had contacted the Planning Office at Ilkley; Martyn Burke had confirmed planning permission had been granted last year under Ilkley Parish Council. Highways had no issues and adequate width of pavement remained. No further action to be taken.

07/02032/FUL — 29 Wellfield Lane

Conservatory to rear

After discussion the committee felt that the conservatory was over dominant on the site.

320/0607 — Any other business

Applicants are appealing the decision to deny building on the site at 30 Main Street. Neighbours have already objected and the Parish Council have been kept informed. The Parish Council have been asked to give their views at the Annual Meeting of the Parish for the views of the Parish Council on building in gardens. Information had been received from YLCA on powers for local planners to prosecute illegal outdoor advertisers. Parish Clerk to keep this information on file.
