P72/0708 Chairman's remarks

Cllr Jenkins opened the meeting and thanked Cllr Jones for chairing the committee in his absence.

Cllr Horton had sent apologies, these were received and accepted.

P76/0708 Minutes of the Last Meeting

The minutes of the meeting of 23rd August 2007. It was proposed by Cllr Jones and seconded by Cllr Riley that the minutes were a true and accurate record and accepted accordingly.

P77/0708 Matters arising

P66/0708 - Spicy Ranch.

Parish Clerk had sent a letter to licensing asking for a reduction in the trading license to permit trading until midnight not 1am.

P66/0708 - Green Lane.

Press reports indicate that the land will be returned to its former state. Councillors await further developments with interest.

Fences/walls regulations, letter still to be sent to planning officer. Councillors agreed with Cllr Jenkins' suggestion that planning rules be highlighted in a future newsletter.

Parish Clerk had received a draft of the planning protocol that would be included in the parish council charter with BMDC.

Cllr Jenkins enquired if any councillors knew what was happening at Primrose Cottage on Hag Farm Lane. The house had been empty and work was taking place. Further enquiries to be made.
