The minutes of the meeting of 13th September 2007. It was proposed by Cllr Riley and seconded by Cllr Jones that the minutes were a true and accurate record and accepted accordingly.

P77/0708 - Green Lane

Cllr Jenkins reported that the decking at Crag Top that had been subject to an enforcement notice had now been painted and there was no sign of its removal. Cllr Jenkins had contacted the Planning Office; the matter was being dealt with by Enforcement Officers.

P77/0708 - Fences & walls legislation

parish clerk read out the draft letter to Planning Office on this subject. Content was agreed by councillors.

P81/0708 - Primrose Cottage

enquiries were still ongoing as to what work was being carried out.

Receipt of the following applications was acknowledged and considered as follows:

07/07638/COU - Parish Rooms, Station Road

Change of use from parish rooms to B1 business office use

Resolved: recommend approval

07/07750/FUL - Ghyll Beck Barn, Scalebor Park Farm, Moor Lane

L-shaped timber stable block for recreational use consisting of 3 stables, tack room and hay/feed store

Resolved: committee declined to make a decision at this time and agreed to write to the planning office asking for further information before making a decision. The committee wished to ascertain designation of this area of green belt and expressed concern over possible change of use from agricultural to recreational. Queried sight of proposed building and whether it could be sited less obtrusively. Concern expressed by councillors that work had already commenced and this was contrary to the application form.

Parish Clerk had copies of licensing review forms. To be passed to neighbours and to other local and interested parties.

Cllr Walker had spoken to Sustrans (Duncan Hall at BMDC). Before anything can be done need to ensure that IPC are supportive. Cllr Walker to contact Cllr Kate Brown at IPC to gauge their response.

29a West View Avenue (07/00785/FUL) - this retrospective application had gone to appeal and been approved by the Secretary of State.

Bruce Speed had enquired if the Parish Council had been asked to support the bid by Friends of Ilkley Moor for heritage lottery funding. Parish Clerk confirmed that the council had not been asked.

Cllr Jenkins enquired if any of the councillors knew who had purchased Hag Farm Field when it was sold last year.
