1	1419	Caroline Jones	yes	Caroline Jones has lived in Burley for 20 years and served as a parish councillor for two terms – the last as Vice-Chair for the last year. She has been on the Committee of BCC for the past 7 years and was a member of the working group that put together the Parish Plan. She works as Administrator at Burley Oaks Primary School and prior to its opening worked at both the former First School and Middle School.
2	1302	Mike Walker	yes	Mike Walker has lived in Burley for the past 18 Years and during much of that time has been involved with the Community Council as a committee member and in a practical role assisting on many of the village projects. He has also been a member of the Youth Forum. He served one term on the Ilkley Parish Council but did not stand for re-election as he considered that it was not sufficiently focused on the needs of Burley.
3	1296	Matt Palmer	yes	Matt Palmer is 27, has lived in Burley most of his life and served as a Ward Councillor on Bradford Council for the last three years, and therefore knows and cares about local issues in the village. In addition to working as a councillor he runs a small local company.
4	1294	Sylvia Tilford	yes	Sylvia Tilford has lived in Burley for over 30 years. Until retirement she was a health promotion lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University. Currently volunteers on a number of village and local activities, including the Open Door and Burley Wildlife Group. For the last 3 years she has been a Burley councillor on Ilkley Parish Council and Secretary of Burley Community Council since 2001. She is interested in health, education, affordable housing, local environment, and transport matters. She will work to ensure the new council responds effectively to village issues.
5	1271	Margaret Forrest	yes	Margaret Forrest has lived in Burley-in-Wharfedale for 35 years. BA degree and Diploma in social work, has worked as a social worker in hospitals and the community, now retired. Areas of interest are: environmental concerns - recycling waste, protecting the countryside, keeping the green belt; maintaining public transport; affordable housing for younger people; and more opportunities for young people to participate in local issues.
6	1270	Keith Dale	yes	Keith Dale has lived in the village for thirty years and during that time has served on a number of local groups. He works in Bradford, co-ordinating services between Social Services and other Council departments and is also a Trade Union representative. Interests include gardening and walking. Not presently involved with any local groups and if elected would give a commitment to the development of the Parish Council.
7	1248	Peter Riley	yes	Peter Riley has been a village resident since 1975. Human Resources Manager now retired. Founder and Chair of the Burley Village Wildlife Group, which manages the Sun Lane Nature Reserve in collaboration with Bradford Council. President of the Wharfedale Naturalists Society. He is keen to continue the excellent work of the Community Council, promote a sense of community spirit and protect and enhance the quality of our local environment.
8	1130	Peter Jenkins	yes	Peter Jenkins is married with two grown-up children and has lived in Burley since 1988. Joining the Burley Community Council in 2004 he served on the sub-committee which produced the Parish Plan. Setting out the community's aspirations the plan will guide the new Parish Council in setting priorities for action. As a civil engineer and recently retired Managing Director of a consultancy firm, he is particularly concerned about the state of the infrastructure.
9	1129	John Horton	yes	John Horton is a retired mechanical engineering draughtsman, born 1938 and lived in Burley-in-Wharfedale all his life, as did his father before him. Educated at Burley National School, Ilkley Grammar School and Bradford Technical College. Committee member of Community Council; member of Keighley & Worth Valley Railway; Burley 050s and Wharfedale Aeromodellers. Interested in countryside, local history, model aircraft, music, science (astronomy/physics) and steam locomotives. He will try to do the best for the village if elected.
.	1008	Clive Myatt	no	Clive Myatt has lived in Burley–in–Wharfedale since 1998 and for the last 4 years served on the Burley Community Council and Trust. He is one of four Trustees that manage the assets for the Trusts. These include Cornmill Pond; Scalebor sports facilities, amongst others: he also manages the Trust Memberships. He now wishes to serve on the Parish Council to implement improvements contained in the Parish Plan for the benefit of the Burley residents.
.	1060	David Nuttall	no	David Nuttall has lived in the village with his wife for 39 years and has family connections with Burley from 1930. Now retired after 41 years service in the rail industry, he has an interest in local transport and environmental issues. Since retiring, he has become a volunteer minibus driver for the Luncheon Club. He is a member of Bradford Model Engineering Society, and treasurer and acting secretary of a large model railway group.
