Issue D1 – Police presence in the village

Maintain a close working relationship with police and CPSO's allocated to the Burley and Menston areas High Anti–crime Partnership, Area Committee and Wharfedale Ward Councillors. Neighbourhood Watches Police attendance at Forums. Continuing
Ensure that there is a Burley Parish Council representative on the Tasking Group for the area Ongoing as above Representation on Anti–crime partnership Keith Dale and Peter Riley appointed BPC representatives
Continue to lobby for sufficient police resources so that they have more time to patrol, meet residents and investigate problems and crimes High as above as above Now 2 PCSOs plus bicycle from Council.. High Visibility Patrols now combating anti-social behaviour
