| Suggestions | Entries |
|---|---|
| Village bobby and patrols (included here is community policing, implying CPSO) | 8 |
| A police contact point in the village, always reliably manned | 4 |
| Deal with dog fouling | 2 |
| Be pro–active if you see something wrong | 1 |
| CCTV in Grange Park | 1 |
Notes:
A police contact point is taken to be the same as a police station for purposes of analysis as have requests for Ilkley to be manned 24 hours a day. Not quite the same, but it makes the point about local as opposed to Keighley and quicker response times.
Village Bobby on patrol is regarded as a separate point from the above. This also includes the desire that such a service would engage the younger element, get to know trouble spots, be seen about the village and so on. Comment on these lines has been included.
