BURLEY COMMUNITY COUNCIL (BCC)
has become a dormant body following the establishment of Burley Parish Council (BPC), as BPC has taken over many of the functions previously undertaken by BCC.
BURLEY–IN–WHARFEDALE COMMUNITY TRUST (BWCT)
is a Registered Charity that was established to undertake the charitable aspects of former BCC activities not transferred to BPC e.g. ownership and/or maintenance of the Pudding Tree Garden, Scalebor Sports Pavilion, Round House, Mill Pond, Christmas Lights etc.
BWCT operates on donated funds and membership fees, with occasional grant assistance.
