Our Mission is:

St Mary's Parish Centre

43 Station Road 01943 864405 email parish.office@stmaryspc.co.uk

St Mary's Parish Centre is a new building on Station Road providing a warm welcome to all who enter its doors. It is the outreach and administrative centre for St Mary's Church. It provides facilities for refreshments, and a friendly chat, it hosts all kinds of classes including Pilates, Alexander technique, various art classes, children's French classes, children's drama, children's ballet, post and ante-natal classes and is the base of the “Open Door” project (an ecumenical project – see below).

Parish Office

Our Parish Office manages the administration of the Parish Church and Parish Centre, taking bookings for room hire and answering questions relating to both Church and Centre.

Open Door

At the centre of most homes there's a warm kitchen with a cup of tea.

At the centre of the Christian faith there's a welcome for everyone, old and young.

At the centre of our village there's a place where these two ideas come together – a warm welcoming place where anyone can simply drop in – for a chat, for a cuppa, for information about village activities, or where to go for help, for a listening ear – or just to put your feet up and read a newspaper!

Open Door provides free teas, coffees, biscuits, newspapers and a good old fashioned chit-chat for all, Mon - Fri (excl Thursdays) 10-12am and 2-4pm.

The Parish Centre has various rooms for hire:

The Garden Room

The Garden Room is ideal for children's parties and adult and chilrden's classes. This is also home to The Meeting Place, a bistro-style cafe, which offers tea and coffee, fruit juice and toasted tea cakes each morning, Tues - Thurs from 08:45 - 11:30. On fine days you can enjoy tea or coffee in the newly landscaped garden.

It also hosts Saturday coffee mornings for the village churches and Community Trust.

The Jepson Room

Upstairs, the Jepson Room is ideally suited to business meetings and training events. It has high speed internet access and a wide screen presenter with lap top, seating up to 55 people.
